well, i had problems seeing which action i'm on in bright areas, like sunny thanalan.
the yellow ring of the action bar often got almost invisible due to brightness.
    i'm happy about this change!
    DING DING! Winner!

I'm not surprised that you're boggled considering your grammar and spelling.

Initially i thought you're against something which is obviously good, but from your last post which you clarified, your right in terms of priority, i'd also like SE focusing on more core features to make the game playable and enjoyable first.
Should be full focus on core features.

Although, as matty indicated, it could be that these guys aren't useful elsewhere where more important features need to be worked on, but i'm still inclined to believe there must be more important stuff to work on.

It's understandable that some people may have anxiety over announcements from SE that they're making changes to something that seems to be very, very minor - in contrast, of course, to the overall major changes announced/expected. However, with any form of software - whether it be a video game or an enterprise-class application - there exist many features (visual or functional) that can be changed, tweaked, altered, etc., with relative ease compared to making changes to the underlying, or "core", functional/visual foundation of the game/application itself. Even so, if a game/application is undergoing major reconstruction, it's possible to add these sorts of changes/alterations as "quick fixes" without impacting the overall reconstruction project.

As a developer, I'm guessing that the changes they are making to the Action Bar and Unit Frames is something as simple as swapping out images or textures (or both) to the already existing visual system. I doubt they are making any alterations to the functionality of these features; I believe that was already done in an earlier patch.
