As someone who has booted a few members from an FC / guild in my day, there may be other forces at work here . . .

I tend to agree. I've led my fair share of shells and have nearly always been in some leadership capacity, and I've yet to see even the most controlling of ls leaders boot someone for not contributing gil. I have a feeling there's a lot more involved here than just that, especially if the OP donated the amount of items he claims. I'd be interested in this facebook page that was mentioned.

There's some other contradictory stuff in there as well, such as

Nobody was ever on for the last 6 months

Ok, so it was empty.

I helped in raids, leveling, and anything else asked of me whenever I was available (I spend most of my time helping people anyways).

Ok, so it wasn't empty, if you guys have enough people to raid.

The reason they kicked me is posted on their fc facebook page (all about money)

Ok, so the reason is "money".

but they are trying to cover it up with the rest of the fc by saying other things...

Ok, so it's actually some other things leadership didn't like but you don't agree that these other things exist\are valid.

Sounds to me like we are missing a good portion of the story.
