Kicked for not giving my gil...

So after 8 months of being with an fc I was kicked because I didn't give them my gil. Nobody was ever on for the last 6 months and me and my friend were the only ones to recruit or maintain the fc. I had even put in over 1.3 million gil in cleaning choco stables (before they were cheap), and another 800k plus in furnishings and donations that were conveniently forgotten.
I helped in raids, leveling, and anything else asked of me whenever I was available (I spend most of my time helping people anyways). The reason they kicked me is posted on their fc facebook page (all about money), but they are trying to cover it up with the rest of the fc by saying other things...
(This is mostly just me ranting/venting but feel free to discuss or share similar stories)

Already in one, no less than 5 mins. after being kicked. I only stayed with them because they needed help. I just find it amusing how greed can blind.

If your in the EU you could switch the Phoenix and join The Academy - we're a good friendly FC without the greed

But yeah your old FC sounds shallow and kinda bad if its all about the gil

I've always had a problem with contributing hard earned gold to a FC (or guild) that can kick you at a moment's notice for any reason. Better be a good group of friends, or I'll keep my gill to myself (not like I've got any to spare anywho).

If you dont mind my asking, why did they want your gil? How much where they expecting? Was it to purchase a new house? Perhaps they requested all members dish out an equal amount? A little back story wouldnt hurt. I'm finding it hard to believe an FC leader would just randomly kick a long standing member over gil? Are you a gillionaire? 4star crafter with 300million? Did they expect you to purchase a Mansion by yourself? lol Sorry if that sounds nosey.
