No, because I don't play the game itself. I'm sure that there are more immature players there than here due to the fact that WoW has millions of more players than FFXI and FFXIV combined. But I'd say the ratio is about the same <_<.
I don't understand that also why play a game if you going to bot to 50 on crafting? or fishing or anything like that. But whatever to each it own i got happy when i got 80 cooking in ffxi within 5days and 90-100k only waste thanks to a awesome website and buying everything from NPC /farm the crystal only think that really cost a lot.
i wish ffxiv had that but all the stuff in the npc are over price.

lol you do understand that i'm still pressing the button right? it just click faster so i can craft little faster then pressing it 500times? So it's really not cheating but w/e i think this was a joke to start with so ahahah lol
and what i mean make your left easy was something that does it for you without you even there maybe i should have put that more clear but i thought people would be smart enough to get what meant but i guess not lol.

You can make a second macro button to press the button 500 times for you :P
Unfortunately you did not specify.lol you do understand that i'm still pressing the button right? it just click faster so i can craft little faster then pressing it 500times? So it's really not cheating but w/e i think this was a joke to start with so ahahah lol

If anything, SE has a history of refusing to differentiate on using anything which alters the game experience (which you did just admit to on the official forum I'd like to point out with that "it just click faster so i can craft little faster then pressing it 500times? So it's really not cheating but w/e i think this was a joke to start with so ahahah lol"...) . Their stance has been that any 3rd party application is grounds for account termination. I'm going to guess you need some form of software to operate a device that does what you described.
During my time with FFXI, they were banning users for something as minor as a program that changed how the game ran in it's window, a ban which meant you were gone with no chance at appeal in the worst case. I'd hate to see us going back to that, especially considering the fact that multiple users on this forum have already admitted to using some form of 3rd party application to alter how the games window is set up.
Food for thought.
We are all using third party software. We are all at risk of account termination. But as long as we're responsible with our third party software, we'll be fine. If you use keyboard drivers, that's third party software. Same with mouse drivers, or gamepad drivers. Anyone using MotionInJoy drivers to use a DS3 controller on their PC is using third party software. I think SE has learned from FFXI that it's ridiculously difficult to enforce rules on "third party software" because it's literally impossible to play this game without the use of third party software. I do not anticipate bans on people using software like AutoHotkey to play this game in a borderless window to avoid DirectX crashes like they did with FFXI because it's unfair, and they know it was.
Same applies to macros. I do not anticipate people being banned for using macros unless they automate many different actions based on conditions, because automation is bad and is considered botting.
It would be stupid if SE banned people for having gaming mice and keyboards. just consider me toast, even tho ive been using gaming mice and keyboards way before FFXI came out lol.
Fraps is 3rd party software too. consider everyone that records in-game movies banned.
I'd like to point out that in FFXI's case, using any form of 3rd party method for altering the gaming experience was a bannable offense, regardless of how minor the mod was. An application that changes how the game runs in a window? Banned, no appeal. Imagine if they were to apply such a stance to this game, and the readily available admissions on this forum to using such apps; not only that but also SUGGESTING other players to use them.
In this case, Zenkaku has even admitted to using a program that automates his crafting by pressing a button 500 times for him. Bravo on that but bear in mind that this would be considered a macro.
I'd get into the differences between macros and bots here, but I'll just leave it at the key points.
Macros assume the player is actively playing and pressing keys. Bots require little to no player input, running by itself once its started.

No manners? Dude lol you just came onto a FFXIV forum and asked about using bots..then admitted to using a bot in WoW (2 things that most FFXIV players don't like: bots and WoW). How do you expect people to react? Why would you ask SE about the use of bots when, if you had read the ToS, it clearly says that it's against the rules. The G15 keyboard, by itself, will not get you banned, but using the macro capability to spam standard synth WILL get you banned.that has NOTHING at all to do with you all being egotistic when i stated i used my G15 in the last mmo i played. its just being plain rude.
Asshole of the day here, with no manners at that. G15 was accepted by blizzard in wow, because it was not technically 3rd party software. How about you go back to wow if you want to act like a immature brat. (see what i did there)
As for the serious responses, ill try and email SE and see what they say.
Healer strike is ridiculously foolish and accomplishes nothing
lol at people defending the effort they put in pressing the crafting button, honestly. SE has done so many great mini-games in FF titles that I hope they add something like that to crafting aswell. Crafting by playing a quick match of something like Bejeweled would be fun while waiting for pt members or something.
