Event idea, 'Back to School' ?

Hi,

Mostly just as a catchy title, but, the point is, where are our school uniforms?! Games like Tera have amazing costumes, including school uniforms. If we could get an event based around school, for costumes, that would be amazing.

As much as I'd like this, I just don't see it happening. This is the kind of fantasy world where, rather than going to school, children are usually taught by their parents what of writing and math they need to know, and then they get an apprenticeship to learn a trade skill. Kids lucky enough to be born to a rich family might get a tutor and more advanced learning, but by and large, the extent of a person's knowledge is how to write, basic algebra, and a trade skill.

Now, if we were to go to a place like Sharlayan sometime in the future, where it's at least implied that higher learning is available to all, then that's a whole different matter, and they might do something like that then.

Also, the SCH AF gear is pretty close to your suggestion anyway.

School uniforms would only be useful pre-30 when most of us are dealing with classes, after 30 we tend to graduate and get jobs.

They're $14.99 per outfit on TERA, so good luck with vanity gear like that not also being on XIV's optional storefront, or being extremely expensive to craft.

A shame TERA had to devolve to creating a bundle of female-specific outfits such as that to make its quick buck ever since having gone F2P unfortunately. No integrity.

that being said, imo, the ironworks gear (drg set on my miqo, at least) looks somewhat like an FF military school uniform imo.

I'd like to see some kind of school uniform, may be from a sharlayan school or university as DarkStar said, something not lorebreaking.
