    I'm impressed 2.45 community.

I've always thought that Party Finder and Duty Finder were great additions to the game providing players with stress free ways to progress in the game rather than shouting in crowded areas to get things done.

However I've also secretly hated Duty Find and Party Finder. It removes the necessity for community. Where players used to try to group up in Linkshells and what would be Free Companies as a valuable tool to get things done. Now it's just not needed. The community became far more "troll" than ever before, and new players are left to rely on DF and PF rather than developing any sense of community.

The addition of bonus tomestones, has been a wonderful start into resolving this issue. Prior to 2.4 you saw very little interest in helping the upcoming players. I mean... who really wants to join a learning party when you've already invested the time and effort to learn the content yourself.

Now with bonus tomestones... I see players valuing the new upcoming community so that they can get their bonuses. The new community and community and general has become far more valuable to each and every player, casual and hardcore alike.

I would love to see this trend continued and even expanded upon.

I was in a group of 6 farming titan EX. We used DF to find the last dps and healer, we always got one person that was new (and they also died 10 seconds into the fight) and got 100 free tomes every kill. So I really think the bonus tomestones was a good idea

Being Maverick, Even I can agree with what you're saying. Adding more rare stuff to join DFs or finishing certain hard mode, EX mode battles and Coils would help the overall willness of the community. ( plus kill run sellers) I'd love more reasons to help out with lower lv or older stuff. Even if ES justs gaves out Titles for "Clear All Ex primals with 2 to 3 new members" would kinda get some players to help out more. Anything but just standing around in Mor Dhona.

Bonus tomes where one of the best things they ever added. In the last 2-3 weeks I've really seen things explode. People getting first clears all over the place. Very good call.

I only wish we got a similar bonus for taking a 50 into a low level dungeon to get a clear for a first timer.

"Hey guys I need an ifrit ex clear for the first time! Sold bonus!" a full party forms in minutes.
"Hey guys I need a Tam Tara NM clear for the first time!" *crickets*

The bonus tomes have meaning now with the new relic stage. Before that people saw bonus tomes and thought "who gives a $&%# about tomes, they will thrown away for mats anyways". Now that people actually need the secondary tomes they have reason to help others. Hopefully this trend continues.

I couldn't agree more. Low Level content rewards in general are not great enough to spark the interest of developed players. I hope SE sees the current improvement in what tomestone bonuses have done for the "Fresh 50" community and take some of those strategies into consideration for the flood of new players that are sure to come during the expansion.

While I would love to see better rewards, I see why they would be hesitant to do so. I mean... think about it. How long would it take you to get a character from 1-15? Adding a significant bonus to Satasha, Tam Tara and Copperbell, for example, would make those three dungeons easily farmable to the point of abuse for players who were, shall we say "less than honest". Especially if those players worked in a small group together.

I don't think it's necessarily anything to be impressed about. The playerbase just jumped on an existing incentive once it became convenient to their own progression, that's all. Once Relic Weapon ceases to be relevant things will return to how they were. It's just a temporary intersection of interests so to speak rather than something that changed within the community.

Call me cynical but I'm betting most people aren't doing it to be friendly, they're doing it as a means of filling up the massive tome requirements for relics. This was probably SE's intention anyways but just watch, the moment those tomes are no longer needed the "hardcore" group will go back to complaining about seeing bonus soldiery messages.

The one upside, if you can call it that, that I've noticed is the sale run market has died down some. Instead it's a reverse situation where some people tout their soldiery bonus as an incentive for free carries.
