Sorry no, I can promise you that the MT could very well need Goad. While Shield Swipes are awesome and all, you won't always get enough to sustain you.

Haven't run dry on TP in FCoB yet. MTing everything on Paladin. I can 100% assure you that you WILL always get enough to sustain TP.

Hell back in the T7 was hard days of 2.2, I never ran dry because of Shield Swipe when that fight went on for as long as possible.

Stoneskin once or twice to survive TP-wise to the next FoF. Not a huge hit to DPS and in 10-13 there are places you can use it pretty much everywhere.

Still don't understand how your tanks are consuming that much TP that you need to Goad them first in 11 and 12.

Because as much as I value tank DPS, I value raid survival more. Healers aren't perfect, people derp, shit happens. A buffer helps. One GCD of Stoneskin isn't gonna cause you to fail a DPS check or wipe to enrage. If it does, there are more pressing issues.

Paeon when our BRDs do it is sufficient for my TP; they don't do it that often or for that long. I never have to ask for Goad. Other than our MNK (who abuses his free Fracture engine), nobody asks for Goad except very occasionally WAR in T12. Or people that die.
