    It's pretty lame that you guys are even chipping in ideas to kill the content when there's already so little available. If you want to clear final coil for the story, just ask for a separate easy mode that's nerfed to the ground and leave the original mode intact (or at least mostly). When content get nerfed too far like what happened in 2nd coil, it basically lower the skill standard for players to aim for and make endgame unchallenging and unrewarding.

    So far, SE's done a decent job making each subsequent coil fights generally harder than the previous and most endgame raiders I've talked with can say that they are satisfied with the final coil challenge. However, can you imagine if we start going backward and new expansion raid become easier and just rehash all the mechanics that we've seen over the year? It's bad enough that our endgame population is shrinking in the NA side compared to JP. Many JP server have like 30+ groups clearing final coil on average but on NA, it would be more like 3~5 per server on average (roughly estimating from the one data collection came out last month).

    What we need to do on NA side is to at least express a distaste for nerf so that we don't fall into the stereotype of the new generation of gamers who need everything handed to them. Set the target skill level high for new players to aim for and make their goals more meaningful and their endgame more rewarding. No offense to anyone in this thread.
