I do bluefire in t12 as well. It's honestly not a terribly long DPS loss. I see that the BRD will stop attacking in some groups when they do bluefire. I don't think that's necessary. Especially when pushing 4 Bennu. I'll keep pushing and minimize the loss.

the way my group does it is simple. The scholar handles the blue fire, the white mage and me (brd) handles brand. The white mage never moves during flame and I run through him to grab or pass. Final phase we have our tanks handle brand. No dps loss whatsoever

Helllllll no, that'll ruin positionals. It goes off tank > Bard > white mage > scholar. Second flame it's off tank > white mage > Bard > scholar, and then you repeat. We do this so we make a little triangle around the fountain, allowing us to move for pinions and keeping the dps away so they have to minimally move.

Yea. I understand that there are better ways to handle it, and I am all for increasing my DPS. :P But at this point it doesn't matter. We aren't hitting enrage due to bluefire.

I would however note that there can be DPS loss from BRD handling brand. Makes it more difficult to use Repelling Shot and poison pots on CD. Not as great a DPS loss as handling bluefire but still a DPS loss.
