Everyone was freaking the hell out about Gold Saucer and Triple Triad being cash shop-fueled things and not once did they think Yoshi-P was being honest when he said "Vanity only Cash Shop".

Seriously, the fact that you feel that it's sad you have to thank someone for being honest is more a testament to how many corporations don't care about their customer base so long as they make a quick buck. The only consumer sin Square-Enix has ever really been guilty of is overpricing mobile games and game memorabilia, and that's only because they tried pricing them compared to their past iterations on game consoles/handhelds rather than other mobile games. If this game were published by EA, this would be a legitimate case of "Thank you for not squeezing the money dry from us". But as this isn't EA, let's try to look on the bright side of things.
