Let Karnak's voice be heard!!!

First off I should say this, I belong to most of the biggest English speaking linkshells on Karnak.

As one of the smallest servers in FFXIV I find it frustrating to find/create parties for raids most of the time. With half of the very small population being japanese and the other half english (more or less) I get to do very small amounts of raids. I have killed Batrall (Check my lodestone history if you don't believe me) I LOVE the new system and content (Very well done SE) I just find myself doing more waiting than raiding. Having this brand new content, raiding is practically the only thing I am interested in doing because I have done everything else so much I have lost interest in it. Anyways I do not want this to be about complaints so I will get to the point.

Can we have a server merge of the lowest population servers PLEASE!!!

I am definately not the only one on Karnak that thinks this either. The majority of people I have spoke with this about couldn't agree more.

I eagerly await a dev response for this issue and I apologize if I missed a topic on this already!

Yeah. As much as I liked FFV, Karnak is not one of the most recognizable names. It goes without saying that it would be sparsely populated, along with Istory, Saronia, and Palamecia.

Probably Fabul, too, 'cause if you're gonna pick an FFIV related server, you gotta go with Mysidia.

I expected the server to grow. I didn't want to be in a server overloaded with people so I chose Karnak. I also started playing FFXIV about 1 week after launch so it was hard to tell which servers would be good. I wasn't basing it on the name.

Unfortunately you can't do a server merger without father tarnishing the title.

Server merger = game is dying/dead.

It would basically be like putting a hose in the mouth of someone who is already drowning. Alot less likely to turn around the game if everyone thinks it is over.

While it would drastically improve the current game several fold over... it would almost doom it in the long haul.

Ok well maybe not a merge. How about having the option to switch servers once every 6 months or something? I could get all my friends in Karnak to switch to another server at the same time. Im just thinking off the top of my head here but Karnak needs a boost.
