Easiest melee class? Mistime your Jumps / Dives in FCoB fights and things will go bad. At least MNK / NINs can use their off-GCD skills without having the need to be animation locked or get hit by AoEs by simply performing the skill. I have to hold my jumps in T10 when Imdugud has the electric field or else I'll get Electrocuted. Or I have to hold back on jumps during T11 or else I'll risk getting Forked Lightning during mid-air and when I land the animation lock would prevent me to immediately move out, or I jump right into a gravity well, or holding back Jump during Phase 3 esp. when I have tethers. As a MNK / NIN I can just spam my main off-GCDs while being able to move freely with no problem.

If Ninjas do Assassinate they are animation locked aswell, it's pretty harsh too.
Besides pressing one button for each jump or comboing Mudras in the heat of a fight on the move, what is more difficult?

I'm sorry, but a Jump is EVERY 30 seconds; you can't even use Assassinate for 80% of the boss' HP.
Not to mention Spineshatter and Dragonfire dive have slight animation locks as well.

Mudras are only hard if you have lag, once you have anything on muscle memory, it's not hard.

There is no class in this game that is "hard" it's always about getting used to it, but a Ninja still needs to put more efford into their DPS than a Dragoon and so do Monks. (Ninjustsus are on a 20 second cooldown and you don't want to waste that time.)
Knowing when to jump or not is a given, you don't jump when you know there is going to be an aoe right at that spot.
Besides Jumps are not as harsh with the animation lock like they used to be.
I agree that Dragoon used to be difficult too, one missed heavy thrust fucked their rotation and punished them pretty harsh, but this isn't the case anymore.
All that is left are Rogues without Mudras and a few jumps.

Dragoons needed a buff, but removing the difficulty of the class on the way made it kind of lackluster.

How much effort is needed really is dependent on the person however. Personally I can practically go brain dead on NIN because windup time to max buffs/DPS is no where near as long as DRGs plus there's only 1 potency positional that matters. Whereas with MNK I just wanna slam my head against the wall every time the mob does an unexpected turn while I'm flanking for Snap Punch.

    MY Job is the hardest!

    What job?

Whatever job I'm on, and you're not on!!!!!

Jeez, who cares about the difficulty. If it's too hard, change jobs. If it's not challenging (fun/gratifying) enough, change jobs.

Personally, I think almost any party combination at this point is great. Very balanced. Except SMN. Give that guy MP.

Ikr? MNKs and NINs are just being salty because DRGs got the buffs that they deserved. Seriously you have an issue when you're scared of DRGs - those who're fine with it won't even complain and would still have the confidence that they can play their mains at their best.

You won't Assassinate for 80% of the bosses' HP while holding Jumps / Dives = losing uptime thus losing a good DPS potential.
Seriously I can keep pressing my Mudras in the midst of dodging AoEs. It's not like you have to complete the combination right on that spot or else you'll get the rabbit hat. What I do is I hold my strafing buttons while pressing the Mudras - and if it's Raiton / Suiton / Futon I won't even bother on where do I run into since all 3 are ranged attacks, unlike Jumps that relocates you to melee range. On the other hand, if you Jump and an AoE is casted mid-air, most chances are you'll get hit because of the slight animation lock that occurs when you land.

DRG has been laughed at, turned noses up at, and thought of as the most useless job since launch. Since l.a.u.n.c.h. Please please let them enjoy this tiny bit of dps/HELLO IM RELEVANT OMG moment for like, a week. Neither monk or ninja are hurt or rendered useless from this buff. It's okay. Let drg have a little happy. They deserve that much.

Actually MNK was the most useless job at launch. That got fixed in 2.1 though.

I absolutely agree with you, as a DRG.
