They do, they express this all the time. They even talked about it at the Fan Fest. First thing asked about the cash shop was P2W items and Yoshi-P and he confirmed that the vanity shop will only consist of items that have no effect on your progression at all.

Correct me if I am wrong, but did they not mention that money made from the cash shop goes straight into content creating for the game and not in the higher up's pockets?

How are they abusing me? Its items I don't care about, and if there happens to be something I like, I will buy it. Its my choice to buy these non-P2W items, not SE's. You act like SE are all laughing maniacally while thunder is rolling in the back and swimming in a pool of gold. I said this in other cash shop threads, but I think it especially applies to you. There is no need to be upset or over dramatic about it.

If for one am not a cash shop defender. And that's where people like you start with making these sort of topics completely pointless. As the world is not black and white, it doesn't exist out of just cash shop defenders and cash shop haters. In the real world, there's a large portion of players like myself included, who simply can't be bothered about the presence of a cash shop.

For me it's been nearly 10 years since I first saw premium items introduced into MMO's. Back then, it were actual P2W items in some korean grinder MMO. Hell, even then it didn't stop me from enjoying my own time in the game. These days, a few vanity pieces? I can't be bothered with it the slightest. Chances of me personally spending money on it is close to 0. However, it's also not going to disrupt my ingame experience. And there's many, many players out there like me. Players who quite simply just don't care. Players who can't be bothered either way.

No one is forced to purchase anything from the cash shop so they really aren't taking advantage of anyone. Every company has installed a cash shop of some form, be it vanity items to DLC. If you are that offended by a cash shop then just stop gaming because its everywhere.
