I agree with that, but this still is a way to pay for a boost. in that case a boost of gils that lead to a boost of gear.
Again i ask to Answer to my question:

I can deal with some optional item in cash shop. Minion,mount etc. but you HAVE TO make it untradable. If you want it just for fun and vanity why complain if they don't allow you to earn in game benefits (like gil) ?
