I hope you realize that not everybody cares about Coil and EX primals. I hope you realize that not everybody cares about "progression" content, and that they prefer to take the game at their own pace.

And that's those people's prerogative, that doesn't change the facts though. Don't like it, don't buy those particular minions/mounts, there's tons of other ones you can work your butt off for, it's not like the sleipnir mount goes 30% faster or anything.

I would rather have a response so I can decide whether I want to keep playing this game, or if I want to leave it.

Leaving us in the dark about this, especially springing the Eternal Bond bit on us at the last minute, is absolutely disrespectful.

Well you have your response. The cash shop will continue getting small amounts added with each patch, and there will be paid versions of the EB system. Time for you to decide, that's the most response you'll be getting.

Anything you pay large sums of gil for: "OMG SE ONLY CARES ABOUT THE 1%, LEGACY SCUMBAGS WITH GIL, AND RMT!"

Something free for everyone: "OMG I'M NOT A SPECIAL SNOWFLAKE SE." "THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE SPECIAL FOR ONLY ME AND MY SIGNIFICANT OTHER!"

Yoshida said for a very long time that he had planned for this sort of cash shop model to come along, and he said "no pay to win". I guess that's as close to a response as you're going to get on the matter.

OK, lets put Coil in there. Don't like it? Don't buy it. There's tons of other instances you can do in the game, it's not like Coil is the only place that gives the highest ilvl gear.

OK then. If they're optional, how about we take glamour away and put that in the cash shop? I mean, it's optional after all. Dyes? Optional. Unique armor models? Optional. Hairstyles? Optional. Coil? Optional. Extreme modes? Optional.

This quote, your subscription, and this game in its entirety are all optional. Hell even LIFE is optional, but that ain't the point people are trying to make. I don't really care about the cash shop, but if I see something I actually want, I'll grab it. It's not like $5 is going to kill me, as it is I only pay about $50 every 6 months to play this game vs $60 every time a new console game comes out. But if the cash shop ever gets something that requires you to do the current endgame content with, or any endgame content for that matter (endgame content being raids that offer highest tier equipment, not vanity) then I will have a problem with it, but I doubt that'll ever happen.
