    450~ cures I think would be perfectly reasonable, that's about half the effectiveness of stoneskin and would be over the effectiveness of stoneskin during convalesence. That fits the MP cost and while it wouldn't be enough to make you self-sufficient for heals it would definitely make your survivability go up.

    Something like this. I think the cure (as cast by the PLD) should be stronger at lvl 50 than it is now. It doesn't need to be awesome for survival, it just needs to be strong enough such that you could justify casting it ever.
