It's most certainly not going to happen but...by god, it was so smooth and sexy.
-Improved/less restrictive Cross Class customization. This is kind of a staple of the job system and I'd like it to be a little more meaningful, especially if we can't spec or anything otherwise. The skill selection and skill quality is currently pretty underwhelming.
-Elimination of classes. Use only jobs, please.
-More control over gear stats. It'd be nice if we could use materia for this provided the system is reorganized not to be such a PITA. (but that's a topic for a different thread)
-Reduction of core features locked behind obscure quests and attunements. Basically stuff like materia melding, the challenge log and dungeon/raid access. It's getting to the point where you need a guide to unlock everything. It's ridiculous.
-Removal of skills locked behind job quests. You already know why this is restrictive and stupid--you can't add skills without adding new job quests. I mean, seriously. It's not going to scale :|.
-An overhaul of your quest design for the main story. Too many breadcrumb quests. Too much filler. Look to Hildibrand for the sort of pacing you should be aiming for. And for the love of God, brevity is the soul of wit. Stop with the textbox spamming.

Isn't *all* content for less than 20 people?
I mean the largest event is 24 people, I suppose. But who forms full alliances for ST regularly?
Endgame content is based around statics of 8 players. Honestly, any endgame FC whose members are not a multiple of 8 is leaving someone out...


-Warrior can become a dps berserker instead of tank that be nice I have a freaking Great Axe for crying out loud >.>
-Upgrade are soul gems the only lvl 30 item on us atm which could fulfill my wish in the above suggestion and other job's maybe too <.<
-Be able to combined abilities with individual limit breaks between two player's to perform a new ability but not as strong as a party limit break >.>
Alternatively, add the 1-hour cooldown abilities from FFXI as our "individual limit breaks". (just to note, this is one of the very few things I'd like to see from XI)
Chrono Trigger-esque Dual Techs would also be cool to see.

More PvP that isn't tied to grand companies, possibly a 8v8 capture the flag match
Skillchains between players worked in somehow (really miss them from FFXI), maybe tie in if everyone has unique limit break bars?
