While the current AI limitation is a set-back, from my understanding, it is a necessary set-back. Currently Physick + Embrace has a higher combined heal potency than Cure II, for half the MP cost. Being able to fine-tune Embrace would require Cure II's MP cost to be either cut significantly or the overall potency to be buffed significantly to keep it up-to-par. Part of the reason why it's balanced now is BECAUSE the fairy can't be controlled 100% of the time. The room SE gave for error is what helps keep things balanced.

I think that is quite on purpose, because they wanted WHM, from looking at the skill set to be an aoe healer and i think its encouraged from looking at the skills. While on the other hand SCH has one aoe heal and its not very good at all and has a high mp cost. Which is why our direct target heals are more efficient.And honestly our target heal physick is the same as WHM physick but we have a pet and they even have one aoe heal.

Single target healing vs. Group healing id say that's on the nail.

I don't think this is quite what the OP is asking. From your post it almost seems like you're making out we want the Fairy's Embrace to have the same properties as Physick so we can perfectly cast them simultaneously every time. That's not the case as all we want for both pet classes is to be able to control them 100%, and this wouldn't be a huge change for the jobs. The reason I say this is because when you focus on tank healing, your Fairy will always heal the same target as you anyway, if you macro or command it to. So the combined potency being higher than Cure II is already a thing, it's not something new that would come from 100% control. And it's not something I believe a WHM needs to be adjusted to, SCHs are better at single target healing after all. This is particularly why I only mentioned 100% control being great to prevent delays to Fairy buffs, as I believe it'll make no difference to the actual overall healing potency.
