CS Complaint Threads Need to Stop

It's getting old. If you enjoy purchasing optional minions, mounts, etc. from the Cash Shop that's awesome. Thanks for being willing to contribute more money to help with the development costs of the game and future content!!!!

As others have said people have a right to voice their frustrations just as much as you just did.

Did get a chuckle out of the bolded part though. SE's net profit for last year was 60,756 million yen (a little more than $510,350,400) and its net income after all expenses (including development costs) was 6,598,000,000 yen (about $55,423,200 US). They don't need money to "help with development costs of the game and future content", the game makes enough for them. The cash shop money will mostly be used to raise income and profits for SE and there is nothing wrong with that from a business standpoint. So thanks for increasing the those two lines on their balance sheet, the shareholders will love you.

At the end of the day I have no problem with the cash shop. If I don't want to use it I won't, if I do I will. Honestly its not game breaking to me. But acting like poor SE needs funding to deliver us content and the cash shop is going to provide that just isn't entirely accurate.

You're right. If you, or someone doesn't want to use it, you wont. However, if you don't, you're already missing content which you're suposedly already paying with your subscription. I already posted this before when Odin mount was announced. It's like they're charging you to enter a restaurant besides paying for the food. And as people said before, more and more stuff will go into cash shop eventually. People say it's just vanity stuff. Even if it's just vanity, it DOES matter. Vanity is part of the game. When you make your character race, customizing (as far as it allows you to) and getting what's pleasing your view of your character and its surroundings. Why do people then care about glamours, race, hairstyle, colors or whatever when you could just have a stickman character that does skills without animations, just plain damage, why not right? if you don't care about vanity! Well, same goes for minions and mounts (and whatever they decide to put on cash shop, and we know they will). Why play different mmos when they have different styles if all you want to do is damage enemies. Every little piece of game content is relevant, be it vanity or not, and it makes people feel left out when they're already paying for the game.

It's fine when they give exclusive items for rl events like fanfest mog attire, because you're paying for something you're attending, like a special event. It's optional. With cash shop however they sell you items in-game that you should be able to get because you're already paying for the game.

Edit: For people saying that microtransactions with cash shop will help to increase game developtment costs when they claim to have millions of accounts and paying subscription, it's like pourin a glass of water into an already full swimming pool saying it will help to get full.
