Past Holiday Bardings in Cash Shop?

With the Starlight Celebration coming up soon, I was wondering if the Starlight Barding from last year's celebration will be in the cash shop (like past holidays' costume gear), or if it will be available during the celebration again this year? I tried asking friends and using Google, but I haven't found any information about this.

I'd like to know before I shell out a bit of gil for one on the market board, then find out I'd be able to get it for free a few weeks later. Or if happens kinda the other way around and I hold off on buying one from the MB, only to find out I won't be able to get one in-game during the celebration this year, and the MB prices for them skyrocket.

Either way, I will not be buying it from the cash shop.

According to XIVDB, it is untradable. However, looking both the Starlight Barding and the Egg Harness (also untradable according to XIVDB) up on the Lodestone item database, neither one are listed as untradable, while the Behemoth Barding is listed as such. (I looked up the Behemoth Barding for comparison purposes, both to see if any items are listed as untradable in the Lodestone database, and because I knew for certain that it is untradable in-game.)

I just logged in to the game to check the MB again, and there are currently 3 Starlight Bardings for sale, as well as 4 Egg Harnesses, on Balmung.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that SE should add them to the CS. Quite the opposite, in fact! I'd really like for all of the holiday bardings to stay available in-game (during the appropriate holidays, of course).

If it is tradeable, then it would not show up in the cash shop.
But this is also not a guarantee that it would be buyable from a vendor npc again.

What the hell are you talking about? The Cactuar/Bomb/Slime/Dodo earrings were always supposed to be available to the entire server according to a lottery based on people clearing the event at TGS. Both years, enough people won the trial that all servers earned the earrings. The distribution method for the earrings is the moogle NPC. Next time you try to insinuate something, get your facts straight first.

As for the OP's question, we don't know yet. The Egg Harness and Starlight barding are in fact tradeable and there are a few available on Hyperion's market board for millions of gil each.
