Exactly the problem here.

The free option just feels wrong, uncomplete, something that isn`t finished. But we are already paying for the FULL experience of this game.

I see they're gradually shifting to both a Sub and F2P money grab models. I generally prefer the Sub model games because they keep out RMT and trolls but clearly gaming companies can't be trusted to not screw over the consumers by adding more and more cash shop items. I am eagerly awaiting for them to make the next set of gear look like rags with shit smeared on them so they can sell me something to glamor over it in the cash shop.

It's kind of funny how people are raging over this so much. You get the free option, which is basically the same thing minus the mount and minion, but you still get the whole wedding vibe of it.

No seriously, this isn't a huge deal. it's not game breaking and it's not "pay to win". Yoshida already stated he doesn't ever want there to be anything in the cash shop that's Pay to Win, anyway. (I don't remember the source but I think it was from either the US or London Fanfests.)

You haven't even seen the price of the wedding yet, and chances are it won't be outrageous. Best thing is, since weddings are scheduled, you'll have time to get together money if you wanted to be able to buy this wedding, or you and your "spouse" can come together to try and pay for the premium together.
I don't have a job. I make chicken scratch off of art commissions to be able to play, and I still know i'd be able to pull together enough to be able to pay for this one time thing.

P2W by definition means buying an item, unattainable in game through other means, that provides a clear and definitive advantage over all other players who do not purchase the item. Nothing involved in the Eternal Bond system gives any gameplay advantage to the players who get them... skins, a mount, and a minion.... Woooo! Yeah, that'll let you one-shot T13 in Darklight gear! </sarcasm>

You forgot that these mounts and minions will be 100% useless once 3.0 comes and we start flying in the air with the new flying mounts and am sure most minions cant fly.
