    The only real case for it being detrimental would be if Parry were checked first, resulting in less mitigation if parry rolls a success, but that would be silly game design and so I don't think SE did it that way.
    I think most people agree that Parry's main obstacle as a stat isn't the order it's checked in, but rather its scaling.

    As far as the Ironworks gear goes, I really like it. I like having Parry heavy gear, even if it doesn't make a /huge/ difference, I still do notice myself parrying more, and that makes me happy. And the rest of the secondary stats aren't awful either. Not too much skill speed/accuracy, unlike the whole unweathered noct set which had almost 4x the skill speed and a little too much accuracy for the time, I think. The augmented Ironworks set is alot better than the unweathered noct set, I think.
