Shameless bump just cuz this has been hidden, also we got this discussion going on in two places::

I would love to see a response from someone... at least acknowledging that someone has read this and knows of our issues.

what more needs to be said?
Game is NOT ready for billing yet...and they already said they would give us a warning in advance. Suffice to say, until that warning there's no billing.
Ill just restate an important point. The idea is to start billing once the game IS ACTUALLY READY as opposed to doing it to make it APPEAR READY.
Game is not ready, no billing.
As I said in the other thread, and this is a quote::what more needs to be said?

So they are transferring FFXI payment system to the same system that FFXIV is going to use which is Click and Buy/Crysta method. As stated in many posts::
C&B has a bad reputation.
Some only have C&B as an options
Come countries don't have ANY option
Some countries don't have the UltimatePay cards
Some countries can't use Paypal in conjunction due to issues.
So obviously people are unhappy about it. So, as you can see, this IS a current issue for the FFXI players who are very unhappy about this... and unfortunately a issue that we as FFXIV players will have to face as well.
If people who play FFXI are already having issues, don't you think maybe we should get it solved now so we don't have to do through the same thing.
I don't understand why some wanna wait until the last minute (because it's not an issue at this exact moment since its F2P) to try and fix an issue several people have already said IS an issue. How can a person play without ANY payment options? How can a person play if their bank is telling them NOT to use C&B and that is their ONLY option?
So since we aren't paying at this exact moment we shouldn't be concerned and try to fix it now, so those who have no way of paying period WILL have options when it does come to P2P time?
Regardless of if we are paying at the moment or not, it is an issue that needs to be fixed so people CAN play when SE does start charging.

Maybe people want to know whether they should waste their time playing if they will be forced to quit when the billing begins? People deserve to know as soon as possible whether they will have reasonable billing options or not.what more needs to be said?

Just because the game is not ready for billing right now does not mean you wait to address the issue. That would be the worst thing to do, hell even a were working on a internal system comment would suffice right now. If this game goes live with C&B as the primary billing provider I will not be playing this game past that point. I know others who feel the same way. This thread isn't about being billed it is about the company they have doing said billing and there rather downright unethical business practices.what more needs to be said?

Cannot play FFXI anymore due to requirement of a security feature none of my credit cards offer.
In order to have played FFXIV, had to either sign up for a suspicious third party service, or give away my bank account information to paypal. Neither service which I'd use on my own outside of this or really feel comfortable with.
I feel like some sort of leper that SE doesn't want to get near enough to me to just take my money. ^^;
I like the idea of prepaid cards. It would be a nice viable option for younger players, especially when ps3 version comes out. Or heck, is it even possible to set up a way to buy crysta through the PSN? I have no idea what Sony's rules on something like that is.
your not comfortable with paypal? i mean there the most save many people use them due to not wanting to risk using there bank account info on other website to buy stuff.Cannot play FFXI anymore due to requirement of a security feature none of my credit cards offer.
