This. Some groups have been clearing Second Coils for months, and will no doubt be up to their eyes in Second Coils gear. Most people will have greeded stuff; some will have no use for it, and some will have jobs capped across the board. I don't understand what the big deal is. Yes, the majority of people will never experience T6 - T8 like it was, but it isn't anything to really complain about. Perhaps one day SE will implement an "Original" or "Normal" difficulty of some sort - and you can experience the turns in their original state.Honestly it doesn't bother me the changes they made; it makes wipes less likely for newer/unskilled/time restricted players. You still have to know the mechanics of the fight to conquer it. Just look at Titan HM/EX - no amount of echo buff will help people clear it without assistance of skilled players or extensive training. And you can always get rid of the echo buff if you want T9 la naturel.
But I DO help them. For a few hundred K gil a win.The implication is that you made a static, and would be abandoning it to proceed, yes. You state you wouldn't "bring them" but that is dressing up the exact same thing.
I'm sorry the concept of being a decent person is foreign and complicated to many in this thread. I hope you enjoy all of your super leet wins with the others who are willing to show no empathy towards others who aren't "on your level" and swarm like crazy with dissaproval when the content is finally made accessible to them.
Wow, dude. Let's avoid personal insults, shall we? In my replies I only addressed the skill of players, I never once personally insulted anyone by saying they are not "decent people". I am sorry you feel the need to say those things to me.The implication is that you made a static, and would be abandoning it to proceed, yes. You state you wouldn't "bring them" but that is dressing up the exact same thing.

And no, I would NEVER abandon my static. I would (and I have) removed players from it tho, when the majority of the group thought that it was not a good fit for whatever reason (skill or behavior, mostly). I don't see anything wrong with that. Unless the whole group has a very similar level of skill / commitment / social skills, the static is going to collapse sooner or later anyway. Trust me, this attitute is way more "empathic" than just going "let's all be BFF" by default.
it is nothing new, but it still creep me out when ppl abandoned their so call friend for coil win or eventually kick them out and call the ppl they kick out : friend. Not to mention in this thread, they even say they will not bring their so call friend into coil because they are bad, so much for being "friend"
I am reading this thread and it is from "So Second Coil has been destroyed" to "Personal issue"
True Forums is such a meh!

its because not everyone has such a almost insane level detachment from concepts like friends, and I can't understand how this makes them whiny. Not wanting to leave behind a friend or a family member because they don't grasp the concepts as fast as you/the rest of the group isn't whiny or a new concept. Yes, I'd be lying if I said there aren't certain folks I would leave behind, but those I actually consider a friend? I'll say with them. I only truly enjoy multiplayer games because of friends, so I don't have any plans to leave them behind and risk having them quit, and me being alone.
I play with my IRL brother, chances are unless he quits I'm going to try and get the wins with him, even if he doesnt grasp it as fast as me, I'm not just going to drop him like its hot and find some strangers who care about me only as far as my DPS number. Does this mean I'll miss out on some top content? Yah, probably, but that stuff isn't important to me, my idea of fun is simply a bit different than yours. And this doesn't make it whiny.

Because "friendship" is defined by the skills in a mmo.
I wonder who is more heartless, here.
Think outside the box. Instead of thinking "how can people be satisfied with easy stuff," think "why am I not satisfied with easy stuff?" Just a thing to try.Fair enough. But this is what I've been saying for a while in this thread: I just don't understand how someone can be satisfied with easy stuff. I also acknowledged that people are different. This, however, does not take away my right to state how I see things.
We may have different opinions, but I'll always defend your right to have your own. I try to never force my beliefs on others, but I will say something to clear up anything or make people think from the other side. Sorry if it seemed an attack, it wasn't meant to be.
That is... somehow different to you?
I've made no personal insults, my addressing of "decent people" is to the thread at large. I'm sorry its difficult to understand that selling allies out for personal gain/glory is an amoral concept.
