I really don't know where you are reading that. He talked about items, which his retainer has. And the stuff you can buy or craft is better than the NM's eqipment. Even the new rank 50 stuff. Thats what he meant.
I see him as the Dungeon Boss, not your classical NM, but i was clearly wrong, if he's mentioned officially as an NM.That's why you get a "NM Achievement for it".. cause he is not a NM <_< lol
PS.
No need to get disrespectful.![]()
And still there is still better Gear than the Gear you get from Factions. <_>
Because he said: Templar, Bucaneer, ( which is obviously Faction )
this ... >_<

Do i need to quote your own Sentence?
Again. Its not true. Gear from Open World NM's, Crafted Gear and Gear from Dungeons > Faction NM Gear.
I tried most of the NMs and it's really boring. The fights are not challenging and are just a waste of time, because the gear on my retainer is better than the rewards (Templar's/Bucaneers/etc...).
Edit:
So to answer your first question, in your first Post. The point of getting R50 Gear, or getting LNC to 50, is to be prepared for harder Content, which will bring you to the Point where you get better Gear.
And with that Gear you will be prepared for harder Content.. and again.. to get better Gear again. And at least have fun with your friends, mates.

The content of the bracket was refering to the rewards and not to the gear on my retainer.<br>

This sentence makes no sense. There wasn't a plan because the level cap was slated to be raised, prior to development team juggling and a rushed release... Sorry, but I'm not doing your research for you. You want to know about this game, what's getting fixed, what's considered broken, what was planned prior to Yoshi taking over, then go look it up. You're sitting on your ass in front of a computer, you can type several words into a search function without me holding your hand. And to make an assumption that the dev team was bad is asinine and short-sighted. Unless you work in the gaming industry and have a strong knowledge of SE's employees & processes, that comment holds no ground.
So... ? They never said they were going to overhaul the content of the game nor did they say they were going to provide tons of content for us while they fix the game. Constructing new systems from scratch, on the fly, with a deadline, is not an easy task. It requires time. Don't like it? Don't play until the game is ready.
What's more constructive? A lot of things. Just because you "have an opinion" does not make it constructive. You provided no alternatives, no suggestions, you just whined that there's nothing to do in a game that is known to lack content because it's not finished. Why is that concept hard for people? Do you go to a restaraunt to complain about the main course after only having the appetizer?
I didn't say create endgame, you did. The game is getting fixed. It will be several months away, possibly into early 2012. You're asking people not to use insults in your thread, yet you throw out snide remarks as if your opinion is better. Must be nice on that extremely tall horse of yours.
You are bitching. You're bitching about "having nothing to do." Well, like I said... come back when it's fixed.
On top of that, you're asking others to give you motivation to play a video game....... you're doing it wrong.
The whole LS (except me because I'm the casual of the group) has been running around with HQ Crafted NM gear for months. And even I'm just a new moon away from Tricorne and Vintage Hauby made from all HQ mats. Personally I still haven't gotten a Bloody Lance Head
The reason I play is to have a good time and chat with the LS, but I do worry about the sustainability of end game. What do we do once the whole LS has all the new gear? Get a new dungeon and grind that for a slightly different piece of gear?
The feedback is that SE needs to think about how to create enjoyable, sustainable end game play that doesn't rely on "start over from scratch and cross-class some skills". Some people like playing many classes and are willing to rinse and repeat. But some people are going to want to enjoy one class, and one job and have enjoyable fulfilling content to continue to do with that class/job/role. No one is saying we aren't willing to wait for it. But the dungeons, while quite an enjoyable distraction for a little while are not lasting content. And hopefully SE begins to develop content that is repeatable, purely for the sake of how enjoying it is to play, rather than content that likely becomes stale once you've killed the boss a dozen times and got your drop.
