Ok, let me put it this way, if I were to say, "the more "revealing" an outfit, the more likely sex will be the foremost on a man's mind." Is there any HONEST man, who is fully "functional" and attracted to women, that would say that is not true?

And even if there are a few (and I commend you greatly), is it not true that this is the norm, as has been discussed among men?

There is nothing you can point out of what I said, that isn't true, (other than views on what a complaint is). Having values is about being responsible, not stamping out individuality. The real issue, is that people want to do what they want to do, and darn the consequences to anyone else, or even themselves. THAT is the true problem in America today, hidden under a ton of labels and clichés that give no thought to the future.

Now, THAT is off topic, and a discussion that is not for this forum. And I'm as tired of this somewhat pointless debate as the next person.

Nielfresne can be seen tossing heals without a weapon of any kind equipped in the Ul'dah new character instance. Granted, he's an NPC, but the animations are all there, so it shouldn't be too much of a stretch for a "hide weapon" option. Without re-doing the entire armory system, toggling weapon visibility is about all they can do.

Hide weapon...that's a great idea! I would love a /displayweapon [on|off] command!

本日、開発チームから「武器を非表示にする機能」について連絡がありました。
We have received response from the dev team regarding "feature for hiding (visual) the weapon"

「バッシブモード限定で、メインアームに装備している装備品を非表示にすることができるテキストコマンド」を近日中に実装します。（水着でスクリーンショットの撮影ができるようにするための暫定対応ですがご了承ください。）
Will be for passive mode specifically but will add a text command to be able to hide the visual of main arm soon. (This is tentative for taking screen shots while wearing swim wear.)

暫定仕様

• 非表示設定を行うと、自PC／他PCのすべての装備品が非表示になります。-
  If hidden your/other PC will all be hidden.
• この設定は個人環境でのみ有効です。-
  This setting is only possible for own environment
  言い換えると、自PCでは非表示の設定にしていても、他PCからは常に表示された状態になっています。
• この設定はログアウトする度にリセットされます。
  In other words it means even if you don't see it in your end, other will still see it.

※パッチ1.19で、頭装備の非表示設定と同じように他PCからも装備品が非表示になり、設定も保存されるようになる予定です。

In response to the desire to have "fun in the sun" without the need of carrying a bulky, or dangerously sharp, weapon at your side, the dev. team will implement a text command in patch 1.18a that will allow you to visually hide your weapon while in passive mode.

This is only a temporary solution, and using the command will also hide other character's weapons, too. While having your weapon hidden, other players will still be able to see your weapon. Logging out will also reset the display toggle as well.

Patch 1.19 will have the feature finalized to be more like the current display headgear option where both you and other players will see your weapon toggled off.

So be sure to have fun in the sun with the upcoming swimwear, without fear of accidentally impaling yourself on your gladius!
