In the end, one can't help but feel sorry and pitty for Louisoix and Bahamut both, and Alisaie even aknowledged this. The cruelty of the Allagan towards the Meracydian dragons and their dragon god knew no bounds. Yet, letting Bahamut run rampant and lay the world to waste would solve nothing; the Allagan are long since gone and burried, and he would be taking out his wrath on people whose sins and crimes are not related to Bahamut and his children. Alphinaud also has a point that nobody, certainly not the people of Eorzea, can know of the truth, or they would pray and worship the primal Phoenix and turn Louisoix into the very thing he sought to fight against. Perhaps one day a solution can be found that will allow primals to exist without draining the aether.

The final question that remains now is if this is the last we will see of the Elder Primal Bahamut. He was free for the first time in millenia for all but ten minutes, before being dragged underground, then reformed and rebound by his shattered prison. "Sucks", does not even begin to describe that existence, or the existence of the dragons kept in stasis simply to simulate prayer to keep him summoned. What happened to Meracydia since its fall all those millenia ago? Does it still exist? Are there still dragons out there today who offer prayer and worship to the Elder Primal? Perhaps, one day, we will travel there and find out for ourselves.

Thinking about it, if Bahamut was kept summoned by the prayer of the stasis-bound dragons... then what in the name of the Twelve is it that keeps Odin bound to this realm?
