Yeah, that makes sense to me as well. I'm pretty excited for that, Odin is the last Primal currently out that hasn't been dealt with as well, so I'm glad that won't be left hanging. It's nice to see the Primals actually having some sort of role in the story as well, beyond just being big threats that need to be handled.

Well, that certainly puts a damper on my "Alexander vs Bahamut" theory. It's still possible that Alexander is the Allag Primal rather than the Ishgard one, which means that such a battle may have taken place in the past, but we're unlikely to see Alexander until the expansion now. (calling it now: the floating continent is Alexander)

Another thing: perhaps all the Primals were once mortal? Iceheart may well have literally become Shiva without anyone realizing, and even if not Bahamut himself was described as having been brought back from the dead as a Primal. And then there's Odin, always taking the form of the one who killed him last. Perhaps there's something to that?

Somewhat unrelated but didn't wanted to start a new thread.
Do we have any sort of information on Draconian or Meracydian language ? The thing that picked my interest was the origin of the Akh Afah Amphitheatre AND in turn 13 Mister Elder Primal uses a certain attack called "Akh Morn".

It's definitely Draconian. Look to the Heavensward lyrics and you'll find some hints, though how to directly translate either is still up for grabs (unless I missed something in a quest, I'll check).

Well according his quest, Odin was sealed in the Aetheryte at Urth's Gift but the seal broke / there's a crack in the aetheryte / seal thus he was unleashed but he cannot go outside of the Shroud. IMO it's not because people want to duel him or w/e but it's because the desire to fight that exists in people's hearts is what feeds him thus enabling him to materialize in the physical plane.

IMO if Primals were once mortal, it kinda kills the feel / theme of Primals. This is FFXIV, not FFXI where the "primals" were once mortals and were given immortal form when they die. IMO the Primals are just manifestations of the elements themselves, nothing more. OR what their worshippers believe how that Primal looks like. That's why i.e Garuda has wings and all those kinds of stuff because the Ixals probably believed that she looks like that.

I could imagine "Akh" to be translated into something that represents the Dravanian/Meraciydian like Us/Habitants of XXX/Davanians/Meracydians. Simplifying Dravanian/Meracydian "Akh" into Dragons for easier understanding.
Akh Afah meaning something like The dragons (Dragons, ours ?) Amphitheatre. Dragons/Ours/Amphitheatre, word for word it does sound rather primitive but it's all just speculation anyway but I think the idea is pretty clear. Afah could also mean, taken from the lyrics only, something similiar to Vengeance/Will/Be but it seemed ours fitted this one more. Like I said, I could be entirely wrong.
On Akh Morn I'm rather torn apart. Just going with the lyrics again, Morn would most likely translate into savior or perish. Since it's an attack used by Mr elder primal, the true translation is probably pro dragon. Meaning that "Dragons Perish" is rather unlikely but the translation of Morn probably changes in this sentence anyway, turning into something like "Dragons >>>PerishER ATTACK" I hope you get what I mean lol. If morn however would translate into savior it would make more sense. Dragons Savior, pretty self explanatory.

And again, I could be entirely wrong, everything is speculation and I'd love nothing more to be proven wrong. I'd actually wish that Akh would be a dragons name, that would make the whole shiva thing even more romantic *///* but thats highly unlikely.

Tbh I didn't even think about "The" which is actually a really good guess and the most likeliest translation xD

All of the lines that have "an" in them seem to be the ones talking about "our," so that was my guess for that. I also arrived at the conclusion of the as a first guess for akh, but most times that its mentioned, they call it The Akh Afah Amphitheatre. The The Something Amphitheatre? Maybe Eorzeans just added the [The] because they dunno what it means, but I took it as a hint that maybe it was something else. Or maybe it's an error, I have no idea, lol.
