At that point - it will be easy for everyone to wipe the floor with Bahamut because everyone will likely be level 60 and decked in like item level 140-150 gear. Of course alternatively they could always level cap this making it forever a challenge (they would need to implement incentive for people to go back after 3.0 is released which would not be easy).
Yoshi said the coil would not be required for any content in 3.0.
