How can we have a AH when we don't even have something as simple as a mailbox? ... just saying LoL sad thing is it's been almost a year, this is a basic mmo function that goes waaaaaaaaay back and ties in with common sense xD

Oh yes, lol. This game is missing a lot of the fundamentals. I'm glad SE is taking a few steps forward with the game, but maybe they should take a few steps back and add the things that should have always been there.

Only insane thing i see is some people that think that what this game now is wasting resources in implementing an AH when there's already a system in place that's functionally an AH without the name Auction House.

Needing 7 electricians to change a lightbulb, and then the solution is to add more electricians to the roster when people complain how slow and bad the process is.

If I can't personally place a retainer in the ward I want to place it in, the system is broke for myself.

The difference in usability with an auction house is minimal. And the system is more elastic on top of it. You're just too attached to a name.

Considering that now search lists the location of each retainer, it'll work exactly like an auction house whichever ward you put your retainer in.

The only "broken" thing is some people's sense of priorities.

Anyone with a sufficent supply of grey cells would understand that scrapping a system that works to create a redundant one because those without such supply demand it, isn't the smartest idea.

That's especially true when those resources could be instead used to implement some of the things the game actually lacks.

And those with grey cells that actually think of such stuff know that you replace an old bridge with a new one if the old bridge will cost you more to do less with every passing season.

They spend more months fixing something that's not satisfactory instead of reverting to an easy and efficient old system...

Thats what I keep telling these companies who quit making VHS tape, I mean VHS worked fine why did they need to make DVDs that do the EXACT same thing, and now these Blueray thingamabobs...when will they ever learn!

Sorry dude. But the market wards are, and always will be, a flawed idea. Increasing the number of wards and ward capacity is only a hack fix delaying the inevitable. I don't even want to think of what kind of hack fix would need to make the MW work on a popular game. My guess is that the only reason we don't have some kind of AH by now is because of some weird, archaic system put into place that doesn't allow such a thing. So basically a lot of work probably needs to go into getting rid of something that should never be there. I'm pretty sure they said that's why we don't have a mailbox yet either.

I am 100% sure an AH in some form or fashion will be implemented eventually. And I'd have to guess it'll be before the PS3 release.
