The market ward is like a ghost town...are they supposed to be adding an AH?

I was at Limsa and went to the market ward earlier and it was like...85% more empty. Then I tried the search feature and could not find any of the items I was looking for....usually I find them without a problem, but didn't see anything at all that I needed.

I know the retainers were reset. Hopefully people will place them back up soon.

By the way, any word of an auction house being implemented in 1.19 or 1.20?

Doesn't help is no one cares to use it even in the most popular part of the world. Also doesn't help there's a limit on the retainers for stuff that are popular.

Heres what I predict after 12+ months of retail SE will finally add some really basic kinda crappy version of an auction house and Yoshi-p will get several threads thanking him. A few people will make threads saying they dont like the auction house because they arnt useful enough the SE white knights will come in and tell those players to quit the game.

So no matter when SE adds the auction house and no matter how basic and unuseful it is it will be treated like its the next great thing and that SE added it just in time to save the day. Truth be told we have already lost thousands of players due to not having an auction house and having market wards.

How can it be worse then the MW, when the MW is worse then the basic functions of an AH, with fancier graphics.

In the end, I rather just select an item from the screen press buy, and be done with it...look an AH.

True, though the mailbox is simply a means of delay overflow. Like having max-ed out inventory, or gil put into your account.

Not really needed, but convenient safety features.

It was really the idiot developer minds again, that thought "we can enforce taxes and sales and prevent money laundering if they can't trade with another" type thinking.

Kinda like preventing pre-marital sex by denying teenagers a social life era thinking. (Or prevent evil thoughts by having women wear bulky clothes and hid their faces...)
