I think the only issue is figuring out a way to reimburse the players who already ranked up to 50 and allowing them to be equal in a reworked class system. All of the current classes' skill sets need to be redone.Which I wouldn't mind but how would it work with the current mish mash of classes? Do you take CON to R50 then it stops, then you can branch off as a BLM or a WHM or do both? Or if you unlocked BLM at R30 and levelled it as a separate class to CON what would be the point when CON has pretty much all of BLM's spells.
I just think the current system has made a real mess of traditional classes and it will be hard to separate them or give you a reason to level them over the hybrid mish mash classes at the minute, but I would still like to hear what options people can give on this as it is something I am very interest in.
That should be easy they know the total SP/EXP you have accumulated as even on lodestone you can see this in your profile, so they obviously have a system to that keeps track of everyone's total amount. All they would have to do is make the changes and then let everyone assign their SP to the classes that they choose.
Maybe let them reassign the SP 3 times or only for the first week after the first time they do it so they can try the new redone class and see if they still like it, if not then they could put the SP into a different class.
What? Listen, I hardly think they are, or even would take it that far. If anything, they would simply redesign the abilities and traits. Why in the hell would they completely scrap the different classes already in the game? That should be easy they know the total SP/EXP you have accumulated as even on lodestone you can see this in your profile, so they obviously have a system to that keeps track of everyone's total amount. As for that Conjurer problem. They could simply keep it Conjurer yet only give it Black Mage abilities and traits, and Thaumaturge the White Mage end of the spectrum.
