Hey guys ever accidentally hit the battle regimon button and couldnt attack the enemy and then you died and you hated that button?
Well thats my first experience with Battle Region, and then months later I joined a party and they wanted to do BR and I was clueless and they killed my apprehension easily.....

[shift key] + [#] = that action with BR button

You need to be engaged and targeting the mob,

first person press shift + 1 (basic attack)

second person press shift + 1 (basic attack)

first person sees second persons ability stacked above the party member list and knows they can press G and launch everyones move


You may have noticed I am a keyboard user.... but I am liberated because I thought you had to use BR with a mouse or gamepad........ so anyway.....

BR is great if you mob lives more than 10 seconds

TL;DR Shift + Ability bar = insta stack (newbs: opener press g when all stacked)

Yeah I love using the BR system (when it doesn't glitch) just need more battles to last longer so it can be of more use.

honestly I like br vs weapon skill chains. That was a complicating system. BR pretty much any 2 or more abilities have an effect on the mob. Like 2 basic attacks, or an attack and magic spell. As long as no one misses, the effect will go off.

Where weapon skill chains wasn't that basic, you needed to have the correct 2 weapon skills. Which helped with the "job of the mnth" fad. No one really does weapon skills chains anymore in ffxi, because they just take to much time to set up. First you need ppl to have @ least 100%, then hope they don't miss.

With br yes you need to "turn it on" but its more forgiving. I think people should experiment with the mobs more to find mobs just right vs the "die to fast" type.

And personally id start the battle with basic br.

I think the problem again has to do with lack of any actual explanation in-game. Yeah, you can see the stuff on the lodestone, but how many people are going to sift through it to find the stuff on BRs? It sounds dumb, but there ARE people who don't. And we ALL know what condition the game manual was in when the game launched. It was like the Final Fantasy IX strategy guide all over again minus the actual links.

Tutorials. It's all about these.

I understood The Last Remnant plenty, mechanics weren't even near the core of it's problems. It was just a plainly bad game made with an engine SE should have stayed well away from, considering the final quality. Sorry for the OT.

Shift + hotbar number = BR ability stack. I don't thin you can use the NumPad for it, though honestly, I never tried.
