Wasted use of PD. Better spent on double meteor streams. There's no point to being in melee range early on Dalamud Dive because you can't target Nael until it's safe to be there anyways.

Drg's burst is generally better than NIN's because its just much simpler and does have a slight potency advantage.

I'm not totally sure on both jobs optimal ones but ones I use would be as follows

Power surge - jump, life surge - full thrust, spineshatter drive, dragonfire drive, leg sweep (7 abilities for a total potency of 1345 including 1.5x for crit on full thrust and 50% dmg boost on 200 potency jump)

    For nin

Suiton - Trick attack - kassatsu - ration - mug - jugulate (6 abilities for 1340 potency, 1.5x for ration crit, NOT including the 10% trick attack bonus simply because drg could use their bust at the same time getting the same effect)

I believe that DRG's burst is also quicker since casting suiton and ration probably takes longer than it does for DRG to do all the above off global cooldown abilities.

Both drg and nin get access to Blood for blood, inner release and a dmg boost in the form of lowered resistance to slashing/piercing although DRG gets enhanced blood for blood thus making its burst dmg much higher than the potency effects as it is buffed to a higher level of attack.

Thanks, also over the Burts period let's just say nin has a 36 % damage increase due to buffs/debuff (DE, B4B, KotW/V) while drg has a 46 % increase overall base damage increase (ID, enhanced B4B, disembowel) on top of forcing a jump to do 50% more damage.

DISCLAIMER: not exactly sure how much of a damage increase DE for nin is or Disembowel for drg is. I read it's roughly a 6-7% increase.

We won't count the forced crits on respective Full Thrust and Raiton. I know the 46% damage increase is applied to FT for drg on top of a forced crit, I imagine the exact same is true for nin with raiton.

Definitely is a waste on the drop. However, the true use of physical dodging is Iron Chariot for more attacks/AAs. I'd argue double Meteor Streams is almost as wasteful as Dalamud Dive, since at this point we overgear the streams anyway and any deaths are your own fault.

Works for me as BLM. Moar Deeps.

That isnt right. Twin snakes has to count because ninja does not have an equivalent skill. The equalizer for ninjas dancing edge slashing debuff is monks dragon kick blunt debuff.
    Monk: 10% ts, 5% fof, 27% gl3, 10% dk =52%
    Ninja: 20% poison, 10% de =30%
    A 22% difference

It was imply further reasoning behind my theorycrafting, and at this point our MNK actually does more on his NIN, with an i110 wep vs MNK HA wep.
By now the job looks as good as I thought it would be.
