Hmmm that would be great so I could gear up each role and not have to sacrifice progression for one or more jobs.....but say you get the 450 x 3 roles per week, what's to stop you from spending them all on just ONE job though?

The idea presented by the OP was that each role had seperate tomes per week. Basically, a "tank" tome, a "healer" tome, and a "damage dealer" tome.
same thing stopping us now.
Again u only get 450 points PER ROLE
450 FOR ALL DPS
450 FOR ALL TANKS
450 FOR ALL HEALERS
So if u want to play different roles like tank and healer you can.
You cannot use all these points on one class. So if u only want to play one class you will not be left behind. But if you want to tank you can actually tank and gear it without skipping your main class.
The tomes would be strictly limited on specific jobs, tomes earned through tanking would be spent on tank gear and so, at least that how I see it working well... though that would take something from the current system, the ability to earn tomes for other jobs by playing a different job, hmm...
The question is if people are willing to give up the freedom of gear alt classes without actually setting a foot in any content with them (and with a terrible 450 lockout that means you will only gear 2-3 classes max) or people having to earn their gear on different jobs by actually playing them, speeding up the queues AND gear time of different roles.
Not if the tomes are role specific.

Now we can only gear 3 jobs tops because next reset and ilvl goes up to 140. And for most people those are DPS classes. SO nonw you still get 3 dps classes but you can get a tank class and a healer class as well. making more people use them
People would still feel obligated to have all three classes and to cap all three points per week which is a considerable time investment for a casual styled MMO. As it stands people already feel obligated to cap the 450 for one job and I frequently see FC people on the weekend trying to rush the last few points it. Also, it's irrelevant that they are all separated since that's a distraction from the other side effects this would cause like the one I just listed. Explore those side effects more. Just separating them into three categories doesn't make everything sunshine and rainbows.

If you only want to play dps then play DPS its that simple.
Whether you agree or not doesn't change the fact that people would do it and feel obligated. Think outside of the "me" box for just a second.
Of course they aren't literally obligated. They FEEL obligated. I swear it's like people don't read. People already feel obligated to get the existing 450 a week. If you don't get your 450 suddenly you're behind so you need to do it to stay up to date on your progression. You're not thinking this through if you really don't think people would feel even more obligated to hit all 3 classes if the system was like this. Now instead of 1 class to keep up to date you have three. This would lead to people complaining about too little Poe from rewards. Then people complaining about getting all the gear too fast and having nothing to do.People aren't obligated cap any currency, that's a really weak argument, someone who doesn't care about tanking wont bother with tank soldiery. Those who like to play multiple roles would finally be able to make full use of the armory system, doing content with different roles instead of just gearing a max of 2 or 3 jobs, the last two not being done until several months later.
The currency cap and coil lockout should be more armory friendly, not less.
This suggestion does not take all aspects of the token system into account, It doesn't take into account how people actually approach the system, and it doesn't take into account game balance. It's a very one minded fix one problem without a care in the world of the side effects. It's short sighted.

i agree right now there is no point to playing a second role.People aren't obligated cap any currency, that's a really weak argument, someone who doesn't care about tanking wont bother with tank soldiery.
