Lone wolves? Oh dear god don't make me laugh on that. If they were "lone wolves" then why would I even want to bother playing an online Final Fantasy? I'd just go sit in my corner and play the older games and get the same gratification, or I'd just go waste my time playing FFXI.

Like hell they can't do anything on the issue. Increasing the amount of EXP gained from other content is a way to fix it. You mean to sit there and tell me it won't help mitigate the insanity that DPS players are feeling WHO DON'T EVEN WANT TO LEVEL ROGUE? I just want to level my Thaumaturge...I wanna be a Black Mage before the next patch hits, and I got a ton of lvls

EDIT: You know I find it hilarious that people who are like "Deal with it" Are almost always sporting tank gear and/or healer stuff. Yeah it's easy for you to say when you don't have to wait for queue times or have FC friends who can help you, ffs I can't even get mine to say "Can't busy" at this point, I just get ignored. We're going on 3 hours right now for today's DF queue, let's see if we can't beat last night's record.

Look at the bs in CM and Prae that new players are still having to deal with.
SE threw more rewards to those dungeons and it didn't do anything to help them.

It's frustrating for you and others and I can sympathize but you also need to stop expecting SE to solve this issue.
You're on Balmung, one of the most populated and active servers in FFXIV.
You cannot tell me that there is *nobody* out there who is either in your shoes or is leveling a tank/healer, or has a tank/healer leveled that is willing to help.
If all else fails do throw up a group into PF or do some shouting. Don't expect others to invite you into already formed groups, try forming your own.

If your FC is snubbing you and other newbies then you guys should go find another FC that will not do that.

Also, I'm not sure why new players think that leveling via fates/dungeons/leves is the only way? That type of grind is the worst.
    Make sure to exhaust your side quests too as well as the other exp options in the game... ~_~;;
But if you're hellbent on using Fates... well, by now the mob of rogues/ninjas will be moving in relative unison to the next area for "optimal" exp. Hang back in the areas they were before and do fates there. There will be less people there and you will still get good exp.

Like I said, maybe you should find a more helpful company. if you are just getting ignored when asking for help, then it's never a good sign. You should find a company who are more willing to help new members.

Throwing more exp at the problem isn't a solution. The current glut of Rogues/Ninjas is a temporary situation and it'll eventually resolve itself. There's really not anything to be done aside from finding a way around it. Personally, I find it amusing that you think that someone that has a tank or healer as their main character is clueless as to the woes of a DPS. Many of us have leveled every role to 50 at least once and play those roles frequently.

As for the FC, you can hardly blame them for wanting to do the new content. If it's a huge issue where none of them will even respond to you, you may want to find a new FC that's a little more helpful toward new players.

I hope people really aren't just sitting around waiting on DF, when they could be gaining levels instead. Esp. the person wanting to level THM/BLM up. You can make XP pretty quick on that job solo, more so with a choco assisting you if you've unlocked it. And you don't have to be pushing Chain5's either... just even Chain 3's can pull in steady xp with rested bonus and food up.

Just for the record, BLM and ACN were my first two to 50, and I did that almost entirely outside of dungeons. That's right... leves, fates, and just running around slaughtering crap the old fashion way... sometimes by myself, sometimes with a friend or two. The only dungeons I did while leveling my first 3 jobs were mission related or the odd guildhests to help a friend out. It really isn't that hard to do, and really doesn't take that long to do.

I was farting around again tonight on PLD tonight to finish bonding a pair of legs for conversion. With rested bonus and food, I was getting 118% bonus XP and pulling in upwards of 450xp/kill WITH my chocobo out (reduces your xp a bit and gives some to your choco). The targets were only up to +4 over my level occasionally, which in this game is still quite manageable regardless of job.

Gather a couple others and roam an area with a good selection/quantity of mobs and you can pull in some nice XP/hour numbers. Might even find you grab a level or two in the same amount of time you've spent waiting on DF queues.

Just saying... it isn't as bad as some of you are making it out to be. Just need to think outside the box a little. Or rather... to think more "old school".
