Hence this is the issue you dont like or you dont want to play those jobs, so either you deal with this issue or dont play. You can also do fates or even leve's instead of waiting for the Q to pop.And how long do you think it'll last? Because if it's several weeks then I'm not even going to bother. I'm not going to play as a healer or a tank, I don't like playing as Paladin, it's the same thing: Shield lob, then flash if multiple mobs are present. then just spam Fast/Savage/Rage, Fight or Flight and Rampart are obvious. It's not that hard to do, oh and making sure you mark what critters you're about to engage. I wanna try out Thaumaturge because I like the stuff it gets and the fact it is just absolutely devastating in content. But I can't enjoy what I pay for, because of other people wanting to spam Ninja/Rogue like there's no tomorrow.
Play Warrior. And how long do you think it'll last? Because if it's several weeks then I'm not even going to bother. DF is working fine for DPS! (AV)

They just need to give actual incentives for tanks to use the DF. A bit of gil is not going to entice anyone and that is really only for the high level dungeons.
Add tomestone bonuses for queuing as a tank in DF. ~10 Poetics and ~60 Soldiery for all low level dungeons and a ~5 Poetics and ~30 Soldiery bonus for all dungeons that normally reward those two tomestones. Obviously the bonuses would only be offered while there is a high demand for the job, just as they do currently with the gil bonus
Tanks already get extra gil for being adventurers in need in roulettes and said roulettes give tomestones on top of it. Tanks also get unique mounts for doing expert dungeons 50 times. What else are you going to give tanks without making them be so glamorous that makes other classes not worth playing? Face it, no one is going to play tank and Square can't really force people to play a class they don't want to play as. Tanking isn't simply for everyone. They just need to give actual incentives for tanks to use the DF. A bit of gil is not going to entice anyone and that is really only for the high level dungeons.

Lots of people play tank. More than enough for most content. The problem, particularly right now, is that not enough people are playing tank (and healer I'd imagine) in low level DF. They need to increase the rewards for needed classes in those dungeons greatly in order to entice existing players to help out new players leveling/needing help with story missions.Tanks already get extra gil for being adventurers in need in roulettes and said roulettes give tomestones on top of it. My main is a tank. I won't touch low level dungeons. The rewards suck.

EVERYONE gets extra gil when their role is up for adventurer in need. In any case, you're right. No amount of incentive is going to make people play tank if they don't already like it.
They should stick to releasing a tank, healer and dps at once (like they will with the expansion).
I don't get why the first new class/job they released had to be a dps. It's like SE is oblivious to the fact the DF times were already hard enough pre 2.4.

Thinking about it, this is only a test for the expansion, SE wants to see how new classes and jobs would be received by the player base. From a developmental standpoint that makes the most logical arguments. However I think I would not be the only one who would say that perhaps the next round of new playable roles might need to be released in a more balanced way (one new job per role (tank, DPS, healer) in one hit, rather than stringing them out).
