It's not amputating a papercut, it's called collective punishment. It strengthens the sense of comradeship, of togetherness; heck, it encourages thinking and communication, it teaches responsibility - not only as an individual but as groups. Is it the best way to achieve those? That's arguable at best, but not much else SE can do. And yes, it is sad/infuriating that such countermeasures are needed, but you all can thank the trolls for that.

Yes yes we know, all for one and all that....And the fact that it is a 30 min wait is far too long just because of one person who made had an emergency or something came up. You can't help what happens with others or yourself
but I'm going to feel like an ass if I had to go.
What they need to do is, whoever drops que, say a DPS or whatever, THE SAME PEOPLE THEY FOUND IN DF, come back together, and wait for a DPS spot or tank or whoever...
AFAIK, when someone withdrawals, you're back in the mixing pot waiting for different players and stuff. I'm a healer, DPS doesn't click, NOW I'm waiting for a tank for years.
They had a fix, they just added an unnecessary add-on that punishes everyone. Really dumb. That one person should take the heat, not everyone else.

I may get yelled at by this, but this is just my opinion and I think this is really lame, but eh whatever. Be careful who you party with and make sure you're all 100% SURE nothings going to happen lol.
