wow... just wow... implement something to cut back on the trolling only to open us up to an even worse form of trolling. hardcore FAIL!

when the game first launched the Abandon timer was set to 20minutes. (10minutes more then it ought to be) then it got bumped to 30minutes. now we get the 3 strike rule at the Commencement window. and now THIS.

i am simply amazed that we even have such counter-measures. this community must have some of the worst people in history. now i am not saying anything bad about certain people, or trying to insult anyone here. but i have played MMORPG's since before they were called MMROPG's. and my word... i can't remember if i've ever came across such an asinine punishment system. really **bleeping** sad we need this crap.

and in the end that's what it boils down to... we need CRAP like this, because of the trolls. while i am opposed to it all, i DO enjoy getting in to an 8-man instance with much much more ease. it's still sad, though.



P.S. THANK YOU for not including that the lock-out penalty is shared between all party members when not using a Light/Full Party in the patch notes. not being sarcastic either.

Such utter nonsense. Don't form a party with the troll. Don't queue the DF until you did a ready check. And if they withdraw after the ready check, note their name and apply appropriate action. If you are being trolled by your friends, FC members, LS, etc. that joined your PF, be sure to apply the corrective actions. They should stop doing that soon once they know the problems they are causing.

Get your party lined-up, all the ducks in a row, and properly behaved. Don't withdraw unless absolutely necessary. Don't withdraw for spurious reasons. You can always go in an then leave. The player that has to leave can take the 30min penalty by themselves and not impact their friends. Don't be wishy-washy about whether if you are going to instance and take all the other players that the DF finds for you for granted. As a partly formed group you don't get to gang-up and troll the DF either. People shouldn't have to click commence 15 times in 10 minutes just to do an instance.

... Now one thing I am seeing that is annoying is people don't withdraw now, they enter the duty, decide they don't like it, sit on the floor and wait to be kicked from pt with no repercussion. I do hope they address that somehow.

You can report players like that for harassment. If you want to proceed or leave to requeue you will need to vote kick them too for harassment. But behavior like that is actionable offense. They should not have been on the DF in the firs place.
