You'd only be a fool if the money you spent was better spent elsewhere like food, healthcare, school, ect, but if said money is avaiable after spending on all necessary things, then you are allowed to use it on luxury stuff, stuff that isn't necessary, but you like and want, to be honest the more you talk, the more it seems you just don't have the money for it.

Assuming you're right and he doesn't have the spare cash, him not being able to afford it and thinking you're an idiot for buying it aren't mutually exclusive.

I have a complaint, and that is that your wall of text was not nearly large enough of a wall. I was anticipating and excited for more.

This thread became derailed about 30 pages ago, and is now just fodder for super general discussion.

Well, In all honestly it seemed like more of a wall while I was writing it out. I apologize for the disappointment. My reply was more of a general reply to these cash shop threads since this would be the main section of it thus far. I did notice it derailed a bit ago, yet similar threads keep popping up and the same things keep being said over and over again, by the same people in some cases. It's just going nowhere.

I remember my first post being in like page 5 of here, when it was first announced at fanfest. been keeping up with it and using my daily limit almost every day, so probably 100 of the posts here are mine!

I particularly enjoyed when we started calling SE a restaurant, and arguing over whether your sub was a plate, or a side of meat.

For the record, its a sandwich.

Yeah, the original statement was that your sub paid for a meal, and they took away the side of beans.

but then the point was made that the beans were not listed on the menu (ToS), and were a free addition, so they started charging a-la-carte for beans.

Then the counter point was that people missed the beans, because they were vegetarians.

Then countered with now you can buy beans, and not HAVE to eat the meat to get to them first.

Then I brought up that the plate of food was the original purchase, and the sub paid for your seat in the restaurant.

fun times, and then I went to the grocery store, bought 10 cans of beans, and donated them to charity so they could have cool mounts too.

Like the flying chocobo/mounts and numerous other armors which those team have and will be created? (Especially for the expansion)

It already is. A single mount and dated holiday armor (Some of which you can't even glamour) in the cash shop compared to the handful already in/coming is really pushing the limits of the money. Woo boy.
