That's basically what Digital Deluxe already is; it's an "Optional Item Purchase" before they had a shop for it, just like the physical goods, deluxe streams, and so on. But sure; no doubt they'll put an extra flying mount on there at some point. In the end, they still have to make sure that what's in the box is deemed worth it for people, optional shop or not.

WOW just WOW 24.00 for that mount, holy crap man that thing better do a lot more than ride for that price. Seriously why on earth would anyone pay 24.00 for a damn mount talk about over priced garbage. If I just spent like 6 months farming an awesome looking set of glamour gear, and sleipnir is the absolute perfect addition to it, yeah ill pay 24 dollars for it. That's less than two hours of work for me.

it wasn't, though, so I didn't buy it. I got my Direwolf, which is rarer on my server than sleipnir already.

You'd only be a fool if the money you spent was better spent elsewhere like food, healthcare, school, ect, but if said money is avaiable after spending on all necessary things, then you are allowed to use it on luxury stuff, stuff that isn't necessary, but you like and want, to be honest the more you talk, the more it seems you just don't have the money for it.

Personally, as it is now, I am okay with it. Would I rather not have to pay for the items? Well, yeah. I do have bills and such to pay. That being said though, when I'm calculating all my monthly costs, I don't even put in the $15 sub because, well, it's $15. If I really want something in particular, I may buy it as a little treat or something but I won't be rushing over anytime soon. (okay, I did rush to see if they had put a name change in...) If they start adding things like special hair styles, armor, housing items, mounts, and minions in mass quantities or boosts and the like, I would change my tune. But really, this patch came out with plenty of new minions you can get in game, and another mount as well. So far, the balance isn't out of whack. Is it pricey in percentage comparisons to what we pay for the sub or what we paid for the game? It is, but in the end, it's still not a whole lot of money individually.

I just wish we could all calm down here and stop throwing insults left and right because it's getting ridiculous. (Yes, I know this is the internet...) Opinions and debate are one thing, but most of these threads are not that. For me, the addition of a cash shop isn't exactly the start of the slippery slope, but I completely understand that for others who have experienced similar things in other games, it is. If this is your deal breaker, then that's fine. Watch from afar to see what happens if you want, or leave entirely. That is indeed up to you. Others still will embrace it. I will be continuing to wait and see myself as I enjoy the game as a whole. Just STAHP with all the rage towards each other.
