    I can't tell you how many times today I was on the verge of death because the mobs were totally ignoring provokes and taunts the tank was doing. Even then, right when the mobs would appear, they go straight to me and my weapon isn't even drawn out.

    On curing spells, I do think they could be reduced a little bit on the mp side. I mean I use Spiritbind again but as soon as I use it, it's like a level 50 provoke. Siphon MP is nice and all but you can't AoE it anymore... sighs...

    I have spent alot of my time on this game and it a shame to see it a big step backward, I thought 1.18 would slove alot of issues and I know it has, but it has also created a few big problems that need to be fixed.

    I hope someone from SE reads this

    yes i agree slightly missleading. but lets face it what were the main spells used as thaum when in an NM party, the answer, siphon and sacrifice..
    so what if styg spikes is still AoE that buff should only apply to the tank anyways!!

    I always use stygian spikes too, but it does no good if monsters dont hit you with NORMAL melee attacks, or dont hit you at all since enmity is hard to hold, and it does no good if the Ogre boss uses TP moves far more than melee moves, since still we dont get MP increases from anything but normal melee auto-attacks. Running out of MP is still easy.

    Did a bunch of leves and grinding earlier with some friends. Tank runs in, voke, disorient and a few other moves, he gets to half health, I cast sacrifice 1 and guess who has the blinking icon?

    Yea I died so much due to a cure or sacrifice pulling hate no matter what tank does

    This times 1mil. This is a major issue. Hopefully if they have a 1.18a patch they will address this. And hopefully the com reps are reading this stuff.

    Why are they bein all silent.... after every patch! lol

    I'm in total agreement. Enmity is so much more broken than before. Tanks now need to have so many sub-classes ranked up high to be able to hold hate and that's just wrong. I tried using Taunt II, Provoke II, War Drum & Warmonger on the ogre at the start of battle and I still wasn't able to acquire hate, so I've hung up my sword and shield until this gets fixed. I refuse to tank with skills that don't work as intended. A Gladiator should not just be a heavy armoured healer.

    I feel sorry for anyone trying to start the game now, especially if they're ranking up with a friend where one is GLA and one is CON. There's absolutely no chance of a GLA holding hate from a CON in the lower ranks. I guess that's just SE's idea of defining class roles.

    If you have a typo to fix you'll get a dev response quick.

    And popdai, this isn't a strategy issue. This is a game balance issue - MP cost should be 1/3 to 1/2 of what it is now, and hate should not generate more from 1 Cure or Sacrifice than a combo of Provoke, Disorient, etc. Otherwise you're just going to get a bunch of GLAs casting cure on anyone, no matter their health, just to hold hate. And even then they're limited due to the MP cost, so you get about 3-4 total.

    Has anyone tried using Provoke, Taunt, and etc after the mage steals enmity, maybe you're not supposed to use all your enmity generating moves at the beginning of a fight now.
