Hunt Rewards in 2.4

hunts are extremely nerfed we went from having 5-10 groups Doing them To 1-2 groups. I joined a party and we all killed our first hunt we saw the reward and everyone left.. It's sad when Such Great content Is Totally destroyed in 1 update. I thought we'd get the 80 sold and maybe 5-10 poetic but now Theres 0 point in doing them It was perfect for alexrite because 10 a class gave u 2 alexrite but now. Just idk what sqaure enix is thinking i hope they look into this soon cause its just horrible how badly nerfed it is.

Oh please. Hunts were such great content? Give me a break.

Hunts were horrible. Hunts gave far too reward for literally no effort, other than teleporting around and arriving at a monster first. They were so dramatic, with childish people starting flame wars, name calling, blacklisting, etc.

They brought out the absolute worst in the community.

BTW, I used to be on Famfrit (as you are), so I know exactly how the hunts were on that server.

I see people whining that this destroys hunts. From my experience so far it makes hunts worth doing where they were just stupid zerg mobs before. I've only had fairly small groups (8~12 people) go after A-ranks after 2.4 and it's more fun that way. It's more challenging, and this way people actually have to know at least some of the monsters' mechanics instead of just being able to faceroll their way to the soldiery and allied seal cap.

Yeah you can't effortlessly "work" towards some of the highest-end gear in the game now, but it's still good for seals and solds and the experience itself is, for the first time since hunts came out, relatively enjoyable at least as far as I'm concerned.
