Well, I think it's likely that some duration of abilities will increase and change as part of the class buff. I think Shadow Fang will likely be a longer duration than 18s at level 50, and until we know the timing, the only thing we can really be sure of is...

Is Storm's Path/Dancing Edge Debuff about to fall off? If Not Put it on.
Is Mutilate about to fall off? If not, put it on.
Is Shadow Fang about to fall off? If not, Put it on.
If above is all on, use Aeolian Edge Combo.

That's more the ROG flowchart than the NIN flowchart though. NIN will also have to manage Futon, Doton, and Suiton buffs/debuffs in addition to those things. I suspect Kassatsu timing is going to be fairly critical and likely a point of debate for months.

If the class is anything like BRD or DRG, then the input from NIN ability usage will be only a small part of the DPS. The ROG portion will likely be 80% or more of the total damage output for the class. I mean look at DRG..... 3 jumps on long CD's and one auto crit mechanic..... thats it. The LNC portion makes up almost the entire class. And BRD abilities do absolutely nothing for the DPS rotation of ARC. I am interested to see some of the CD's of the ninjutsu and mudra stuff. Time will tell
