"Rabbit Medium: Thumpity thump thump, thumpity thump thump..."
What the heck is that?

If you mess up your mudra combo it gives you rabbit ears lol

That's awesome.
It's like a red flag for people screwing up.
.... I want one now.
Preliminary rotation, completely day 0 so this is just speculation from what I can gather, looks like it might be:
Without WAR putting up SE for you, either in favor of Storm's Path or no WAR:
Put up Huton (Increases attack speed by 15%. Duration: 70s) pre-pull. Dancing Edge combo (Storm's Eye 20s effect combo, 203 average potency before debuff) while buffing > Mutilate (360 potency 30s DoT) > Kassatsu (Resets the ninjutsu recast timer while ensuring critical damage for the next ninjutsu action. Duration: 15s) > Shadow Fang combo (DoT combo average of 295 potency before considering debuff on non-DoT portion, 18s DoT) > Raiton mudra (Delivers lightning damage with a potency of 360. Mudra Combination: Ten→Chi or Jin→Chi) > Aeoilian Edge combo (123 filler combo, 223 average potency before debuff) > Dancing Edge combo > Aeoilian Edge combo > Shadow Fang > Aeoilian Edge > Mutilate > Dancing Edge > Shadow Fang > Aeolian > Mudra combo
Something like that anyway? Seems more complex than DRG's rotation (unless I'm way off here and it's more formulaic than I wrote down) and more varied than MNK's options.
With WAR putting up SE:
Huton pre-pull. Mutilate > Shadow Fang combo > Raiton > 123 > 123 > Shadow Fang combo > 123 > Mutilate > 123 > Shadow Fang combo > Mudra combo > 123 > 123 > Shadow Fang > Mutilate > stuff
Seems a lot simpler with WAR in the party with that rotation. Buffs would be harder to setup though since you would go full-on into DoTs.
Why is your first move not Hide --> Trick Attack, 400 potencty and 10% damage buff for all party members.
It also seems like Suiton Ninjutsu (Water Release) and it's accompanying effect will allow the use of SATA in battle. Whether like perfect balance or by hiding (likely the former).
If this is the case youll want to use it as soon as its cd resets, or if your in a fight with a heavy dps check, save it until then to boost everyones damage by 10%. Maybe put up perfect dodge if your mid fight aswell.
For poisons it's got to be viper for me, use mug as a hp replenish instead of changing silence for stun, great change; also noting that mug standard in party combat will be of little use, getting the killing blow with 200 potency is going to be difficult, its more of a solo farm thing.
Bosses don't drop items anyway so it doesn't matter. For poisons it's got to be viper for me, use mug as a hp replenish instead of changing silence for stun, great change; also noting that mug standard in party combat will be of little use, getting the killing blow with 200 potency is going to be difficult, its more of a solo farm thing.
We don't know if Sneak Attack is actually viable, as amazing as it sounds. Hiding Heavies you by 50% (meaning you might have to walk like a snail to get to boss) and it doesn't work on enemies with "special sight," which may mean Trick and Sneak Attack are purely PvP/open-world if that means the attacks won't work on those enemies.
But with Suiton it appears as so you don't go into hide (previous combat video can't remember which one) which makes Trick attack a better damage ability than Raiton. Although I do agree stating a fight in hide will lose more dps than it would gain so going straight in Huton would be more beneficial.
but for Ninjutsu it seems like huton (70s Buff) -20-> Suiton -2->Trick Attack (60 Recast) -18-> Raiton -20-> Huton -20->Suiton -2-> Trick Attack... would be the most effictive method, with Kasatsu being used exclusively with Raiton.
Could be completely off the mark here though, definitley need to get amongst it next week.
That 50% heavy is coming off of nin already enhanced speed and the slow probably wears off upon connecting an attack with said target along with the invisibility.
I would also imagine that sneak att and trick attack abilities will work throughout the fight.
Mine is similar but very rough right now
(War Tank)
Hide > Trick Attack >Huton >Spinning Edge >Blood for blood > Gust Slash > Internal Release > Shadow Fang > Mutilate > Spinning Edge> Kassatsu > Gust Slash> Raiton > Aeolian Edge > Jugulate>
(No War Tank)
Huton >Spinning Edge >Blood for Blood> Gust Slash >Internal Release > Dancing edge > Mutilate
Hide > Trick Attack >Spinning Edge > Gust Slash > Shadow Fang > Kassatsu > Spinning Edge > Raiton > Gust Slash> Jugulate > Aeolian Edge
I would like to mention that this is super incomplete until we are 100% sure of what traits do what, as well as the CDs on every skill.
