    Even that position is a corruption to those want to remain the same 100% exactly as it is, and they've been loudly protesting at the event and on the forums here. And if SE determines that some mechanics needed to be adjusted so the content can DF-ed or PUG-ed with any composition, that makes sense there is no reason to be against that. Making content accessible all is smart thing SE is doing, and they do it gradually and only do it to older content.

    I don't need to debate false statements, nor join you in construct of false equivalences. To date despite all the rants, no one has proven that the same treatment given to the original BCOB was not a success for SE and the game, and SE is taking the same approach to SCOB which I am happy to applaud.

    Depends on perspective. From what I can see, your posts in this topic have been forcing your opinion down the throats of those who don't agree with you. Just because you don't think so doesn't mean that you aren't.

    You have missed the point yet again. To use your example, as an example, High Voltage was not nerfed mechanics-wise. It still paralysed everyone, and it still hurts, but it has been eased. The function of the mechanic stayed the same, but it is eased. This is what we want - not changing the inner working of the mechanics entirely but making them less punishing so that everyone can progress.

    BTW it wasn't my example. Nonethelss, what do people do when they DF T2? 99% of the time they will be doing enrage method. It that wrong? SE doesn't think so or they would have already tuned it so that they can't, just like you can no longer go Ramuh EX with no tank.

    Fact is there are those select few who are resistant to SE making any changes whatsoever and we see them here protesting loudly and what does this thread title say? Those very loud people were behaving shamefully with their ugly booing at the live event.

    To date what SE has chosen to do makes sense, and there is no evidence that difficulty adjustments going forward will not be inline with that. T5 still requires people to put in the time and effort to learn it as well as getting a group to do so, only exception being carries being sold.

    The problem is some people legitimately want T5 to be tank and spank. What SE is doing is fine, but there is a crowd who thinks it's difficulty should be lowest to non-existant just because it's old. That there is zero merit in maintaining some small level of challenge. I have to disagree with that idea. T5's at this point only has a few small tough mechanics. Compared to 6-9 it's already not that much. Removing the T5 difficulty just moves the complaints to T6.

    Just like some people want full on tank and spank, some people want full on difficulty. They're both the outliers for the most part, and generally both don't have the right answer. It's somewhere in between.

    And SE has been in the "somewhere in betwee". The booing at the event and protests here on the forums are unjustified. From seeing what SE has done, I believe giving them the benefit of the doubt is plenty fair an reasonable. People are overreacting to changes they haven't even really seen play out. And SE has the experiene of T2 becoming the enrage method, so they will probably be even more careful. But undoubtedly something will slip testing and they will fix it if it is egregious like Ramuh EX without tanks.

    Isn't that exactly what they said that they were doing? I recall that immediately following the booing Gondai and Yoshida clarified that they weren't changing the fights significantly, just easing up on some of the harsher mechanics - such as the OHKOs in the earlier fights. They emphasized that the content would still be very difficult.

    Even if some of the mechanics changed slightly, though, I don't really see why this is such an issue for the people who can clear the fights all ready, they'd just have to learn how to skip rope a little differently.

    For the people who feel like easing up on OHKOs and removing lock outs is too easy mode there's also still savage coil.

    To me the real gripe seems less about "wanting it to stay hard" and more about "I want to feel special for completing it so make it so difficult that only a few people can clear it". Otherwise people would be sated by the savage coils, and less concerned about other people having the shiny red axe and pretty armor. If this is the case then the argument is less about "challenge" and more about ego.
