You know you can change the permissions so anyone can go in the house.I want a second one for my alt but I doubt I can save enough in time, and I'm still hoping they will allow me to access my house with my Alt eventually. I was lucky to grab the plot I wanted when personal housing went live. >__>; Had to pull all my funds from my alt to my main to afford it. Still recovering on my main and I will need to by materia for my relic soon. *sobs*

Greetings,
Thank you for all the feedback on this.
Based on all of the comments, we’ll be spending a bit more time looking into the automatic removal of land and house feature again, and we expect to implement it sometime after patch 2.4. Once the details have been finalized we will be sure to make an announcement.
