If no one access a FC house in 35 Days you lose everything! Coming Patch 2.3 ><

Then join a coil static?

I really cannot fathom why people insist on having static groups linked to being in a FC. When I played XI I moved through so many different static groups over the years and I cannot imagine having something as invested as a house linked to any of those groups. Free companies should have been focused on social long term groups and linkshells should have been used for organizing transient things like static groups.

If someone won't let you join a coil static because you won't dump your FC for theirs then screw them.

...But again, if you aren't going to even use the house in any fashion, even to just enter, make a repair, then leave for a month at a time. Why is it such a big deal?

For myself, I planned to keep playing ARR until it is end of service.
So I know it will be a long game, maybe 10yr+, why suddenly I need to worry for logon and access the house every month if I keep paying the sub?

I read many players suggested them refund the gil to the company chest.
Refund is good but logically why to the company chest? In fact the gil for purchasing land and house must be taken from the Master's pocket but not the company chest. ^^;
By system design, it indicates that a FC house is solely owned by its Master who paid for it.

Moreover, it will be another issue caused by the 35day-master-transfer, if any refund occurs, it means the FC ownership will be transferred to the next logon member and he can take away all the gil.

So SE please make it simple, if you think you can take away any ownership for n-days no access, please just remove all n-days inactive characters. It is fair and clear, I am sure everyone will reconsider 35day is appropriate or not then.

My friends don't join because their desired names are taken by n-months inactive lv1 players.
Why not remove those characters and release the names which are the real unique thing in a server?
Any house is not unique as there are 5 copies in 5wards, it seems a ward is just an instance.

I just find this topic extremely hilarious. I mean if you put in millions of gil into purchasing a house for your company why not use it for 35 days? Sorry but that make no real sense for me. So stop whining.

I understand the need to clean-up unused Free Company Housing slots, but I think 35 days is too short. I think something like 60 days is more reasonable.

Myself I regulary take about 4 or 5 weeks vacation in a row away from home with no possibility to log in the game. That's already 28 to 35 days.

In France where I live, it's not uncommon during the big school holidays (July & August) for families to go in vacation for 4 weeks. For a small Free Company (think about 4 or few more players), 35 days only is a real potential risk to lose the FC House and all its contents if it happens all the members takes their vacation about the same time.

Reason1: It was told that no such system would be implemented explicitly when we purchased the lands
Reason2: If you have pay your sub, why not use it for 35days? so probably you agree to delete your charater if you have not logon for 35days regardless your sub.

Based on all of the comments, we’ll be spending a bit more time looking into the automatic removal of land and house feature again, and we expect to implement it sometime after patch 2.4. Once the details have been finalized we will be sure to make an announcement.

I agree 35 days is not very long {i mean for the fc i'm in it's made up of friends iv known for a very long time like 7 years but i'm the only one who logs on to play they all started way before me and have every class to 50 and just find the game boring right now like a lot of others so i'm guessing this means i'm keeping the fc around? and as long as i use it it's ok right? thank you
