Zodiac quests should not be nerfed if 3.0 introduces brand new relics

My question is where did you get the idea that 3.0 will contain new relics? I have never seen that in any official interview/live letter. Maybe I missed it but right now I'm under the impression that relics will continue to be upgradeable post 3.0.

In addition to relics they might add an additional upgradeable weapon (similar to how they added mythic weapons in FFXI) but so far we know nothing about 3.0 other than the name and a few obvious details (new jobs/primals/dungeons/raid).

Personally, I'm very grateful that they are increasing the atma drop rate, aside from that I'm not really too concerned. My experience with atma has not been a good one at all and at this point I've given up on it but the changes coming in 2.4 will give me a reason to go back and try again, hopefully without spending over 12 hours in a single zone without getting anything this time.
