Insta-win not a good idea. Easing difficulty sure, but handing it to you on a silver platter not really cool and would invalidate the hard work others put in.

"It's only T5 though" is referring to you saying that you still have to deal with all the mechanics in nerfed coil1. I was FC less right after 2nd coil release and I did LOTS of coil1 pfs and dfs to collect allagan pieces and caduceus slime feeding mechanic started getting ignored before it even splits very early in the echo increments. T1 ADS was getting ignored too, plenty of bards/monks who simply didnt silence the high voltage or didnt have any silencer and the party just brute forced it. T2 went to the default enrage method and rot pass pf was really really rare even before 2.2.
T4 also became much easier: last night I was talking to someone who just tried T4 (lvl 50 only after 2.3 iirc) and won it in one shot, saying he didnt actually know what was happening. I described to him what T4 was like before 2.2 and compared it to what he saw and he didn't realize what the dreadnoughts, bugs, knights and rooks can actually do to the party and he was the healer. All because the df he was in just brute forced the fight and finished it way too fast. Sure, this is maybe how some people who 'couldn't' coil1 when it was relevant wanted out of their content but in this particular case, the person I talked to wished he could have experienced the fight the way I did.
If you think instant max level is instant win then you need to stop playing MMOs
All of you complaining about the "nerf" to second coil are a bunch of hypocrites. How many of you switched off their echo in Turn 1 to 5 once it was implemented? How many of you made sure to not enter Turn 1 to 5 with anything above ilvl 90? Because you do know enterring First Coil with 2.2 or higher gear is nerfing it too, right? Likewise, how many of you will enter Second Coil and switch off their echo? How many of you will make sure to only enter with soldiery / High Allagan gear or less? Anything else is nerfing it, after all, by enterring with gear higher than Second Coil was meant for.
So please, do shut up. "Whaaa, they're nerfing it, but we're totes gonna make use of the echo ourself to make farming those last bits of High Allagan gear for Final Coil easier and make future Second Coil runs easier for ourselves too by wearing gear that is too high for it! OMG CASUALS IN SECOND COIL?! NERF! RAGE! HATE! E-PEEN! DAMN YOU SQUARE ENIX!!! YOSHIDAAAAAAAAAA!!!"
Yeah...
I kinda gotten used to the old content being "just this or that".. Nerfing t5 was kind of a big deal for me before... but it didnt really matter since the stuff there are not worth it anymore and you can get better stuff from collecting tomes by mindlessly grinding dungeons every week. I dislike this system to be honest. They should do something to make old content less dead, like the new tomes can only be obtained by clearing scob or something... Or add in special loot with ridiculous rng (maybe they can do this one for savage mode along with the titles).
Always by your side. . .
I want a max level boost on 3.0 can i has it? the other game has it, the other game is doing ok, so we should also have it right? cant be bad right? i mean, the other game gaiiiis...
Well, that was easy!
Not quite. Most of us already said that the higher ilvl is a nerf in itself. They basically create a double nerf. You can read all about it in threads when T5 got double nerfed.
It's not about casuals. It's about people who just run in and expect to clear stuff in pugs or don't understand teamwork will most likely give them the win. If SE caters to this approach, it's rather sad.

What about people who still didn't clear SCOB, but want to clear it with original mechanics? Sorry, you are late to the party?
